FAEAC generously included me in the closing event. I talked about how taking Asian American Studies classes in college – at UC Davis – literally changed my life. Personally, I got closer to my father, appreciating all he had done as an immigrant in America, and as a writer, embracing the passion in capturing my parents’ history.
